Visit Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage, a beautiful farm, and learn about the humble beginnings of one of America’s most visionary presidents. Next, board the General Jackson Showboat—a paddlewheel riverboat— for an afternoon of great food, entertainment and views. Begin with the new Soul of Nashville experience at historic Ryman Auditorium, known as the Mother Church of Country Music.

En route to Memphis, stop at Graceland—Elvis Presley’s former home. Tour his house, cars and jets before continuing to your hotel in central Memphis.

Following a Southern breakfast, tour of Frogmore Plantation and Gin—a working cotton plantation with history stretching back to the 1850s. Experience the historic architectural beauty of the French District’s alleys and courtyards, including world-famous Bourbon Street. Bourbon Street abounds with colourful characters—musicians, magicians, voodoo practitioners and artists. Stop at the French Market, ride the trolley along Canal Street, then enjoy a tour and tasting of the famous Sazerac cocktail at the Sazerac House. Hop aboard a pedi-cab to Preservation Hall for a lovely acoustic Jazz concert.
