Active pace with longer touring days. Expect intermittent walking at a moderate pace for 2–3 hours over a variety of terrain, including cobblestones, hills and uneven pavements. Must be able to negotiate stairs of varying heights, sometimes without handrails. Can tolerate periods of standing during guided tours and be able to climb in/out of various modes of transportation. Some days may include 5–7 km of walking over the course of the day.

Welcome to New Zealand! We transfer (3.5 hours) to the Bay of Islands, the stunning coastal paradise known for its crystal-clear waters, over 140 islands, and rich Māori history. Tonight is our welcome dinner!
Start your day with a scenic cruise through the Bay of Islands, to see the spectacular Motu Kōkako (Hole in the Rock). Later, explore Waitangi, one of New Zealand's most historic sites, known as the birthplace of the nation.
We journey to Rotorua, with a special stop at the iconic Hobbiton Movie Set. Immerse yourself in the magic of Middle-earth as you stroll through the charming Shire, and savour a delightful hobbit-style lunch amidst this enchanting landscape.
We start with the world-famous sheep show at the Agrodome, then visit the National Kiwi Hatchery to spot the elusive kiwi. Next, explore Te Puia's geothermal valley before experiencing Māori history and traditions with a traditional Hangi at Te Pa Tu.
This morning, we visit the spectacular Huka Falls, where over 220,000 litres of water surge through every second—enough to fill an Olympic swimming pool in less than 11 seconds! We then stop at Huka Honey to sample locally crafted honey and browse regional specialties, before continuing to Napier.
After a devastating earthquake in the 1930s, Napier was entirely rebuilt in the popular Art Deco style of the time. Today, its colourful façades and geometric designs —enhanced by unique Māori motifs—make it one of the most architecturally distinctive towns in the world. We’ll also visit a local winery for a tour and tasting.
Your guided tour takes you deep into more than 250 metres of limestone caves, culminating in a magical boat ride through the Glowworm Grotto—where thousands of tiny lights twinkle above like stars. After lunch, continue to Auckland and enjoy an evening at leisure.
Discover Auckland on a half-day city tour, crossing the Harbour Bridge for sweeping views and travelling along scenic Tamaki Drive with a stop at Bastion Point. Continue through Parnell Village and the Auckland Domain before visiting the All Blacks Experience, an interactive journey into New Zealand’s legendary rugby culture. Afternoon at leisure.

Travel to the Blue Mountains National Park, stopping at Featherdale Wildlife Park to see native Australian animals. Explore the charming village of Leura, take in panoramic views of the iconic Three Sisters at Echo Point, and experience the region’s spectacular scenery at Scenic World.
Discover Sydney, exploring the historic Rocks district, passing under the iconic Harbour Bridge, and viewing the world-famous Sydney Opera House. Enjoy harbour views from Mrs Macquarie’s Chair before continuing to Watsons Bay, returning via Bondi Beach and Paddington.
We fly to Uluru. This afternoon, visit Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), a sacred site of 36 domes rich in Aboriginal mythology. Walk through stunning Walpa Gorge and admire the dramatic, ancient rock formations.
This morning, witness a magical sunrise at Uluru, as the first light illuminates the desert landscape. Afterward, transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Cairns. On arrival, transfer to your hotel. This evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
Today, we set off for an unforgettable day on the Great Barrier Reef, visiting a state-of-the-art pontoon on the outer reef. Enjoy a marine biologist presentation, fish feeding, snorkeling, and more—all designed to immerse you in the magic of this World Heritage-listed natural wonder.
Fly to Sydney and transfer to your hotel. This evening, enjoy a memorable Sydney Harbour dinner cruise, taking in spectacular views alongside a gourmet dining experience.
Transfer to airport and fly back to Canada.
