We fly to Prague via Frankfurt.

Arrive in Prague and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy free time to explore before a welcome dinner at the hotel.

The day begins with a tour of this stunning city, its UNESCO World Heritage site old town, see the 1,000-year old Prague Castle, St. Vitus, the Charles Bridge and Old Market Square. The rest of the day is at leisure—a perfect time to relax in one of the city’s many charming cafés. This evening is a Czech folklore dinner show, where we will experience local music, dance and traditions.

After breakfast, depart Prague by motor coach and enjoy a stop in the historic city of Pilzen, renowned as the birthplace of Pilsner beer—a crisp, golden Bavarian-style lager. After some free time to explore, continue your journey with a scenic drive through the picturesque countryside en route to Passau, where you’ll board your ship. Later this afternoon, embark the vessel and settle into your cabin. In the evening, enjoy a Welcome Cocktail, followed by a specially prepared Welcome Dinner to kick off your journey.

After breakfast, we will take a tour of old town Passau, exploring winding alleyways and Baroque masterpieces in this three-river city. In the afternoon, enjoy free time or join an optional tour.

Take a scenic two-hour coach ride from Linz to Salzburg, the famed city of music. A guided tour of the beautifully preserved Old Town— now a UNESCO World Heritage Site—includes views of Mozart’s birthplace, the Getreidegasse, the stunning cathedral, and the Salzburg Festival district. You’ll also see the Hohensalzburg Fortress from the outside. After an included lunch, continue to the charming village of Mondsee, known for its role in The Sound of Music.

This morning, we visit the stunning Baroque Melk Abbey, known for its 18th-century frescoes and priceless manuscript library. A guided tour includes the abbot’s chambers, marble hall, and library. As you enjoy lunch on board, cruise to Dürnstein, a charming village in the Wachau Valley. Enjoy a guided walk with a visit to historic Dürnstein Abbey and tastings of local apricot specialties. End your exploration with a glass of wine. The ship arrives in Vienna later this evening and stays overnight.

Get a lively taste of Vienna with a scenic drive along the Ringstrasse, passing iconic landmarks like the opera house, parliament, and city hall. Then enjoy a guided walk through the historic center, from the Hofburg Palace to St. Stephen’s Cathedral, with free time to explore on your own. In the afternoon, join an optional tour and visit to the opulent Schönbrunn Palace. This evening, we enjoy a “Sound of Vienna“ concert in a local hall. Listen to the “Wiener Residenz Orchester“ play popular pieces from Vienna’s classical era.

Discover the vibrant charm of Slovakia’s capital on a city tour that includes St. Martin’s Cathedral, Grassalkovich Palace, and panoramic views from castle hill. Stroll through the lively Old Town, explore historic squares and courtyards, and enjoy a taste of local Pressburger rolls before ending at the grand Opera House. In the evening, enjoy an elegant onboard waltz class—glide across the floor and experience the magic of traditional Viennese dance.

Discover the charming village of Szentendre, filled with art galleries, museums, and the renowned Margit Kovács Museum, then enjoy panoramic views of the Danube Bend from the hilltop ruins of Visegrád before visiting the grand basilica of Esztergom, Hungary’s largest cathedral. In Budapest, explore both sides of the city—from Pest’s iconic landmarks like the Parliament, Heroes’ Square, and the State Opera House to Buda’s historic Castle Hill, Matthias Church, and the Fisherman’s Bastion, which offers unforgettable views over the Danube.

After disembarking the ship, we transfer to our hotel before setting out on a walking tour of Budapest’s historic Jewish Quarter, including a visit to the Dohány Street Synagogue—Europe’s largest. This 19th-century architectural landmark can accommodate 3,000 worshippers. Afterward, there will be time to explore the adjacent Jewish Museum, rich with cultural and religious artifacts, as well as visit the Holocaust memorial room and the Jewish Heroes’ Mausoleum. This evening, we enjoy our farewell dinner.

We fly back to Canada via Frankfurt.
