Tour Highlights

  • Orientation of Puerto de la Cruz and Orotava Valley: We begin in Puerto de la Cruz, where our walking tour will show us places like Plaza del Charco, the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Peña, and the Muelle Viejo. Then we’ll proceed to the Orotava Valley, where we’ll take in the panoramic view at Humbolt Viewpoint, and explore the cobbled streets in the old quarter of the historic and artistic town of La Villa de La Orotava.
  • National Park Las Canadas del Teide: We drive through lush tropical scenery to Las Canadas National Park—one of the world’s largest craters. Enjoy spectacular views of volcanic Mount Teide and the “Roque Garcia”, rock formations.
  • Santa Cruz / Anaga / Las Teresitas (full day):Our first stop will be Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the capital of the island. We will walk through its vibrant streets that will take us to the most outstanding places, such as the Plaza de España, Plaza Weyler or the Market of Nuestra Señora de África. You will have time to have lunch and taste the rich Canarian gastronomy in one of the charming restaurants of the city. We will continue our way into the Anaga Massif, an impressive natural area that was declared a Biosphere Reserve in 2015 by UNESCO for its extraordinary biodiversity. Here we will visit some of its most representative viewpoints, such as the Mirador de la Jardina and the Mirador Cruz del Carmen. We will end the day at Las Teresitas Beach, known for its golden sand from the Sahara and its calm, crystal-clear waters. After the visit, return to the hotel.
  • La Gomera (full day): Our excursion to the island of La Gomera will take in the Hermigua Valley, the village of Agulo (for lunch in a traditional restaurant), Garajonay National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Laguna Grande (where it is said the ancient witches of the island used to meet), the imposing Roque de Agando (a steep volcanic lava formation), and San Sebastián (site of the final strongholds of Christopher Columbus before sailing to North America). -La Laguna (half day): Discover the island’s most historic and colonial gem—San Cristóbal de La Laguna, the first city founded in Tenerife after the conquest and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. Stroll through its beautifully preserved old town, where Spanish colonial architecture, cobbled streets, and charming plazas invite you to explore. Highlights of the walking tour include Plaza del Adelantado, the Church and Sanctuary of Santísimo Cristo de La Laguna, and the bustling local market. On the return journey, enjoy a scenic drive along the northern coast, passing through picturesque towns such as Acentejo, Santa Úrsula, La Victoria, La Matanza, El Sauzal, and Tacoronte before arriving back at the hotel.
  • Island Tour (Full Day): Begin your journey with a visit to the historic village of Candelaria, home to the Virgin of Candelaria —the beloved patron saint of the Canary Islands, affectionately known as “La Morenita.” Here, you’ll also see the impressive bronze statues of the ancient Guanche kings (Menceyes) of Tenerife, a powerful tribute to the island’s indigenous heritage. We then travel along the scenic southeast coast, passing through popular coastal towns such as Los Cristianos, Las Américas, Playa San Juan, and Playa de la Arena. Our route takes us to the breathtaking Mirador de Los Gigantes, where you can marvel at the dramatic sea cliffs plunging 300 to 600 meters into the Atlantic. The tour continues through the charming villages of Tamaimo and Santiago del Teide before arriving in Erjos, where you’ll enjoy a camel ride (fee not included) and have time to savour a relaxing lunch. We then return to your hotel, full of memories from a day of discovery.
  • Icod, Marachico & Masca: Embark on a journey through three of northern Tenerife’s most iconic and picturesque destinations: Icod de los Vinos, Garachico, and Masca. In Icod de los Vinos, marvel at the legendary Drago Milenario —a majestic dragon tree estimated to be around 800 years old and a proud symbol of the island. Here, you’ll also have time to savour a traditional Canarian lunch and experience the region’s rich gastronomy. Continue to the charming town of Garachico, once the island’s most important port until a volcanic eruption in 1706 reshaped its coastline. Today, Garachico boasts beautifully preserved architecture from the 16th and 17th centuries, earning its designation as a Historic Site of Cultural Interest and a spot among Spain’s most beautiful villages. The tour concludes in the stunning Teno Rural Park at the village of Masca —a hidden gem nestled among dramatic ravines, celebrated for its breathtaking scenery and traditional Canarian charm.
