Spain's Costa Daurada & Costa Azahar
Active pace with longer touring days. Expect intermittent walking at a moderate pace for 2–3 hours over a variety of terrain, including cobblestones, hills and uneven pavements. Must be able to negotiate stairs of varying heights, sometimes without handrails. Can tolerate periods of standing during guided tours and be able to climb in/out of various modes of transportation. Some days may include 5–7 km of walking over the course of the day.

Coach transfer to Cambrils, Catalonia, with leisure time before our Welcome Dinner.
We will take a half-day tour to Tarragona, a coastal gem in northeastern Spain with incredible Roman ruins. We will see the Roman amphitheatre, explore the medieval old town, and stroll the picturesque Rambla Nova to soak in the lively atmosphere and Mediterranean views.
A day at leisure to enjoy some relaxing beach time, play a round of golf at a nearby course, walk along the promenade or explore the town’s historic centre.
We will visit a local winery on a tour that takes us through the beautiful vineyards, demonstrates the winemaking process from crushing to aging, and ends with a guided tasting of some of Tarragona’s most acclaimed wines.

We spend a full day in Barcelona, with a tour that begins at the iconic Sagrada Familia. After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll explore the vibrant streets of the Gothic Quarter, stroll the bustling La Rambla, and visit Barceloneta Beach to see the sunset.
Deluxe coach transfer (~2 hours) to our hotel in the Costa Azahar.
We will spend a full day exploring Oropesa del Mar, visiting the historic town centre and the enchanting Castle of Oropesa, a hilltop fortress with stunning panoramic views. After lunch at the hotel, we will see the Sant Josep Caves, which house incredible rock formations—and the longest navigable underground river in Europe.
A day at leisure gives you the chance to explore the area on your own, lounge by the pool or enjoy the view from a beach chair on the hotel’s lovely beach.
The day starts with a visit to the iconic Peñíscola Castle, with a stop in the town’s charming historic quarter to explore historic buildings and vibrant shops. Then we will have a chance to relax on the sandy shores of Playa Norte, with their crystal-clear Mediterranean waters.

On this full-day tour we will visit Valencia’s historic centre, stopping at La Seu, the Plaza de la Virgen, the Basílica de los Desamparados and the church of San Nicolás. After a break for lunch, we will see the rice fields of the Albufera and enjoy a boat ride on the scenic l’Albufera lake.

Transfer to Valencia for our flight back via Paris.
