Discover the heart and soul of Mexico in vibrant Jalisco—often called “the most Mexican of all Mexican states.” Birthplace of mariachi, tequila, and charrería, the region offers a rich and authentic cultural experience at every turn.
Our journey begins in Guadalajara, a dynamic city where historic architecture, lively plazas, and contemporary energy come together. We spend 8-nights in a centrally located hotel in the historic centre, providing easy access to key landmarks including UNESCO-listed sites, charming artisan districts, and surrounding cultural hubs. From here, we explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites, artisan villages, and the renowned town of Tequila, gaining insight into the traditions and flavours that define the region.
We then continue to the shores of Lake Chapala for 7-nights, Mexico’s largest lake, staying in a lakeside resort setting surrounded by colourful villages and mountain scenery. Here, we explore Ajijic, visit local markets, enjoy a scenic excursion to Mazamitla, and experience a rejuvenating spa visit in San Juan Cosalá. This itinerary offers a balanced mix of cultural discovery, scenic beauty, and time to relax.
