  • Lisbon: Discover Lisbon, one of Europe’s oldest capitals, with its pastel
  • coloured buildings, cobbled streets, and historic vistas. Pass through the Baixa district before exploring the charming Alfama quarter, known for its narrow, winding streets and traditional character. Continue to Belém to view the Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, and Monument to the Discoveries, all fine examples of 16th-century Manueline architecture. The tour includes a tasting of the famous “Pastéis de Belém,” Lisbon’s signature custard tarts.
  • Evora: We transfer from the Algarve to Cascais, and visit Évora en route. Portugal’s Golden Age lives on in this beautiful, historic city. On our walking tour we see the Roman temple and wall, the Gothic Cathedral, the Aqueduct and its fountains. This historic centre is on UNESCO’s Heritage List. Lunch is included today.
  • Santa Maria Coast: Explore Faro, the capital of the Algarve, where the historic walled old town features cobbled streets, centuries-old buildings, and a cathedral dating back to the 13th century.   • Lagos and Sagres: Explore the historic town of Lagos, with its well-preserved city walls, 17th-century Forte da Bandeira, and the Church of Santo António. Enjoy views of Ponta da Piedade, famous for its dramatic cliffs and rock formations. Continue to Sagres, home to the 17th-century fortress and simple maritime heritage sites linked to Portugal’s Age of Discoveries.   • Silves & Monchique Mountains: Visit Silves, the former Moorish capital of the Algarve, once one of the region’s most important fortified cities.   • Obidos, Nazare and Fatima: Discover three of Portugal’s most iconic destinations on a full-day excursion from Cascais. Begin in Óbidos, a beautifully preserved medieval town enclosed by ancient walls and dominated by its historic castle. Continue to Nazaré, a traditional fishing village known for its dramatic cliffs, sweeping Atlantic views, and charming seaside streets.
