We depart this evening for an overnight flight to Trinidad.

We arrive on the vibrant island of Trinidad and transfer to our hotel in Port of Spain to unwind and prepare for the adventure ahead. The remainder of the day is at leisure to settle in and enjoy the tropical surroundings.

Our adventure begins with a scenic drive along the North Coast Road, winding through lush Paramin Hills and rainforest, offering stunning views of the Caribbean Sea. At Maracas Beach, swim, relax, and enjoy the classic local lunch: “Shark & Bake”—a local Trinidadian specialty

We journey into the heart of the Northern Range to explore the Asa Wright Nature Centre, a former cocoa and coffee plantation turned ecological reserve and birdwatcher’s haven. Over 150 species can be found here including hummingbirds, toucans, and tanagers. Enjoy a nature walk or relax on the veranda amid vibrant wildlife. After lunch, we visit Caroni Bird Sanctuary for a tranquil boat ride through winding mangroves. Watch for kingfishers, flycatchers, cardinals, and Trinidad’s national bird—the Scarlet Ibis.

Enjoy a leisurely morning—relax at the hotel, visit a café, or stroll Queen’s Park Savannah, a beloved green space. This evening, we visit local pan yards to experience Trinidad’s musical heart, where Steelbands rehearse for Carnival. Feel the energy and precision of these musicians as they transform oil drums into instruments of rhythm and energy.

Today we explore Central Trinidad’s rich multicultural heritage. Visit a lively local market brimming with fresh tropical produce, spices, and handcrafted goods. We see significant Hindu sites like the Temple in the Sea and the towering 85-foot Hanuman statue—the largest outside India. After lunch, tour the East Indian Museum and enjoy a traditional pottery-making demonstration, highlighting the lasting impact of Indian culture on the island.

Today we explore Port of Spain’s rich history and architecture on a guided city tour. We visit important landmarks such as the Parliament building, Holy Trinity Cathedral, and Independence Square, learning about the city’s colonial past and dynamic present. A stop at the Lady Young Lookout offers panoramic views of the cityscape nestled against the mountains. In the afternoon, we tour the Angostura Distillery and sample Trinidad’s iconic rum.

This morning, we take a short flight to the serene island of Tobago. Upon arrival, we transfer to our beachfront hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure—swim, explore the resort, or relax to the sound of the waves.

We experience Tobago’s charm on a full-day tour, starting in Scarborough with a visit to historic Fort George. Explore the Argyle Cocoa Estate to learn about chocolate-making and sample local cocoa. Enjoy a scenic lunch at Jemma’s Tree House Restaurant—a beloved island eatery. We return via the Main Ridge Forest Reserve, passing beaches, cliffs, and lush hills.

Enjoy the day at leisure. Consider an optional tour, visit nearby Pigeon Point, or relax at our resort. This evening, we gather for a special dinner at the Blue Crab Restaurant in Scarborough, savouring Tobagostyle cuisine and warm, island hospitality.

Today we cruise over the clear waters of Coral Gardens on a glass-bottom boat, spotting vibrant coral and tropical fish. Swim in the rejuvenating Nylon Pool, then head to Shearbird Point for a beachside BBQ. Enjoy local dishes, a swim, or a relaxing beach stroll.

Unwind with two relaxing days in Tobago’s peaceful atmosphere. Walk through the village or lounge by the pool.

Unwind with another relaxing day in Tobago's peaceful atmosphere. We enjoy our farewell dinner before returning to Trinidad.

After a leisurely morning, we fly back to Trinidad for our final evening before our departure flight to Canada.
