We depart for Tunisia via Paris.

Upon arrival we transfer to the our hotel in Hammamet. This evening will be our Welcome Dinner.

After breakfast, we discover Hammamet’s charming medina, ancient fortress, and lively old marketplace. Continue to Nabeul, Tunisia’s celebrated pottery centre, to see colourful ceramics and local crafts. Travel onward to Douar Laroussi for a memorable cooking class with local hosts, followed by a traditional Tunisian lunch.

Today enjoy a day at leisure or you may join an optional excursion to the fertile Cape Bon Peninsula, known for orchards and vineyards. Visit Kerkouane, the remarkably preserved Phoenician town. Enjoy wine tasting and lunch at Bir Dressen before returning to Hammamet for an evening at leisure.

A full day to relax and enjoy your resort’s facilities or stroll independently through Hammamet’s medina and beachfront.

Spend the day at leisure or join an optional guided tour to Tunis to visit the Bardo Museum, home to one of the world’s finest Roman mosaic collections. Continue to Carthage to explore the impressive Roman ruins. End the day in picturesque Sidi Bou Said, famed for its white-and-blue architecture and sweeping gulf views.

Spend a day at leisure relaxing by the sea.

After breakfast we depart for Tozeur. Stop in Kairouan, Tunisia’s oldest Arab city and one of Islam’s holiest sites. Visit the Great Mosque of Kairouan, the Aghlabid Basins, the Mausoleum of Sidi Sahab, and the vibrant souks. We enjoy lunch at Hotel La Kasbah before continuing through changing landscapes to Tozeur, an oasis town on the edge of the Sahara.

Today we embark on a thrilling jeep excursion into the desert. Visit Ong Jmel, known for its dramatic dunes and famous film locations. Continue to the mountain oases of Chebika and Tamerza, where palmlined canyons and waterfalls create stunning scenery. After lunch we return to Tozeur for a stroll through the palm oasis. Today we have the opportunity for an optional horsedrawn carriage ride.

This morning we cross the vast salt lake Chott el Jerid, a surreal landscape of shimmering mirages. We arrive in Douz, the “Gateway to the Sahara.” We enjoy lunch and an afternoon at leisure. Today we have the opportunity for an optional camel ride with mint tea served among the dunes.

This morning we travel to Matmata to visit traditional troglodyte cave dwellings and meet a Berber family. After lunch in Sfax we will drive to El Djem to explore its extraordinary Roman amphitheatre, one of the best preserved in the world. This afternoon we proceed to Sousse where we will check into our hotel.

Enjoy a free day to relax by the Mediterranean or explore the marina.

Today take an optional excursion to Monastir to visit the historic Ribat of Monastir and Bourguiba’s Mausoleum. This afternoon we return to Sousse to explore the UNESCO-listed medina and the Sousse Museum.

This morning we depart for Dougga, Tunisia’s most spectacular Roman site, with grand temples and theatres. Next, we travel to Thuccabor for a guided visit to an organic olive grove hosted by Mr. Ben Ismail, including an introduction to extra virgin olive oil tasting and enjoy a rustic farm lunch. Proceed to the seaside town of Gammarth.

Enjoy a day at leisure to relax and enjoy your coastal hotel.

We transfer to Tunis Airport for our flight home.
