In Anne of Green Gables, PEI is described as a place of captivating natural beauty with rolling green hills, red cliffs and sparkling seas.
In 2019, the 700 km Island Walk was created as a unique way to allow visitors to experience PEI’s landscape and culture.
Discover the Island’s beauty for yourself during daily guided walks along sections of The Island Walk and the Confederation Trail. Each day, you’ll walk 7 – 14 kilometers on mainly flat terrain discovering PEI’s picturesque villages and stunning scenery while learning of the Island stories and folklore.
Besides invigorating walks, you’ll also visit traditional fishing harbours, heritage sites and local museums to learn about Island history and life. And of course, there will be opportunities to bathe in PEI’s refreshing waters and savour some of the freshest seafood you’ve ever tasted!
Each day, our guided walk will average between 7 – 14 km with 100 m elevation change.
