We fly to Faro via, Lisbon

We arrive in Faro and transfer to Lagos for a 5-night stay. Tonight is our Welcome Dinner.

Today, we make our way to the small village of Burgau, located in the western Algarve. From here, we begin a spectacular coastal walk leading us back to Lagos. Along the way, enjoy sweeping sea views, vibrant landscapes and glimpses of local life. Keep an eye out for the lighthouse at Ponta da Piedade and its striking sandstone rock formations, among the most iconic sights along the Algarve coastline

This morning, we transfer to the village of Carrapateira to follow quiet coastal trails along the inner Algarve cliffs. These paths overlook the rugged West Coast and the beautiful sandy expanse of Praia de Amado, offering wonderful views throughout our walk.

A full day at leisure to enjoy beautiful Lagos. Relax on one of its many golden beaches, explore the charming marina and historic centre, or perhaps take a short train ride to Portimão to visit the local maritime museum or the Church of Nossa Senhora da Conceição.

Today, we transfer to the village of Vila do Bispo to begin our walk along the renowned Rota Vicentina. The first stretch leads us through peaceful countryside, offering gentle terrain and a chance to enjoy the quiet beauty of rural Algarve. As we continue, the landscape opens to dramatic coastal views from the cliffs above Praia do Telheiro. Our journey follows the shoreline all the way to Cabo de São Vicente, the southwesternmost point of Portugal and mainland Europe.

We transfer to Seville and enjoy an afternoon visit to the magnificent Seville Cathedral and the iconic Giralda Tower. After exploring this remarkable city, we continue onward to Granada, where we settle in for the next five nights.

This morning is at leisure to relax or explore at your own pace. In the afternoon, we enjoy a guided visit to the Alhambra, the last Arab stronghold in Spain, famously conquered by the Catholic Monarchs in 1492. Wander through its stunning palaces, intricate Moorish architecture, and beautifully landscaped gardens, and take in the breathtaking views of Granada from this historic fortress.

Today, we take the bus to Güéjar Sierra, located in the northern Sierra Nevada range and one of the best starting points for accessing the highest summits. Our hike follows scenic trails up to the Civil War trenches along the ridges below Cerro el Calar. As a reward for your efforts, you will be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the towering peaks of the Sierra Nevada, a truly unforgettable experience.

Enjoy Granada at your own pace.

From the hotel, we walk to Granada’s historic Albaicín quarter, with its narrow cobbled streets and Moorish-style cármenes. Continuing uphill, we reach Sacromonte, famous for its gypsy caves and Flamenco heritage. Explore the Gypsy Museum, “Museo Cuevas del Sacromonte,” to discover the rich cultural history that inspired poets & artists alike.

We transfer to Malaga for our flight home via Lisbon.
